OSDP Discussion Series Topic 2:  Same-Sex Marriage and the Search for Legitimacy in U.S. Law and Society

 Does “marriage equality” equal legitimacy and acceptance for LGTBQ identified people in U.S. Society? What does it mean for marriage to be “re-defined”?  What is the current “definition” of marriage? Should the marriage debate be at the center of the struggle for LGTBQQIA equality?
